Healthy Relationships

Healthy Relationships promotional image

Join the Pride House (Pride Alliance Center), RVAP (Rape Victim Advocacy Program), and WRAC (Women's Resource & Action Center) for a presentation, workshop, and discussion about healthy relationships, with a focus on LGBTQ+ relationships. We will discuss signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships, attachment styles, questions to reflect on, and hold a workshop on establishing boundaries. We will hold an open discussion after. Our goal with this event is to help LGBTQ+ individuals think critically about their relationships, their needs, and boundaries.

Please use the listed link to register for the event.

We will discuss potentially triggering topics such as: abuse, break ups, trauma, homophobia, transphobia, etc. We will also have a confidential representative in the zoom session who can facilitate creating a breakout room to help someone who may need assistance in the case they are triggered, want to talk privately, need space, etc.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires reasonable accomodation in order to participate in this event, contact Emma Welch at emma-welch@uiowa.edu.
