Students can use MyUI to change their University of Iowa email address to match their preferred name. Follow the directions below:

1. Login to MyUI
2. ​Navigate to "Student Information"
3. Scroll down to the heading "MY UIOWA"
4. Select "My Email"
5. Select "Request to Change Email Alias"
6. Complete the form and click "Submit"
